Accredia
It is the single national accreditation body designated by the Italian Government. It certifies the competences of certification and inspection agencies, testing laboratories (including those for food safety) and calibration laboratories to check the compliance of products, processes and systems with reference standards. Accredia operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development and performs a service of public authority.
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL)
An independent safety certification organisation. Founded in 1894, it develops standards and tests for products, materials, components and tools with a particular focus on safety. Evaluates and certifies the production efficiency of a company through a management analysis program. UL can certify products for the US and Canadian markets and for the IEC Scheme, i.e. for the entire WTO.
China Quality Certification Centre (CQC)
EPL is the second laboratory in Europe to be certified as a Witnessed Manufacturing Test by the CQC. The CQC is the certification body under the China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) approved by the State Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection, Quarantine, Certification and Accreditation for the People's Republic of China. The core business concerns product certification including mandatory Chinese certification (CCC). A third party certifying body authorized by the State for the certification of energy efficiency.
